Adrian Rogers on the Christian Worldview

Picture of Adrian Rogers above from 1970’s while pastor of Bellevue Baptist of Memphis, and president of Southern Baptist Convention. (Little known fact, Rogers was the starting quarterback his senior year of the Palm Beach High School football team that won the state title and a hero to a 7th grader at the same school named Burt Reynolds.)

I have a lot of respect for the teachings of Adrian Rogers and I have posted many of his videos over and over and over  before. He has taken up many issues such as alcohol, drunk driving, evolution,  character,  9/11, profanityconfronting atheists (like Antony Flew, , Carl Sagan),   and he has impacted millions of lives throughout this country through his Love Worth Finding tv  and radio ministry.

Another great message from Adrian Rogers.

Christian World View – Part 1

September 16 | Taken from a message by Adrian Rogers

You have probably heard of the movie, “Star Wars.” In some ways, the movie gives tacit recognition of a supreme being, but the supreme being is called “the Force.” That’s impersonal. But in the Bible, God is not the Force, God is a person who has intelligence, emotion, and will.

There are many worldviews, which are against the Truth about God. One is called atheism – there is no God. Another worldview is fatalism –everything is just going to happen and there’s nothing we can do about it. Another worldview is polytheism – that there are many gods.

You cannot hold to any of these worldviews and hold to what the Bible says is truth. Exodus 34:14 says, “For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.”
